Q&A(6)

Q: I have purchased this refill bag twice. The first bag had a thick consistency like the normal soap dispenser. My second bag was full of water consistency. I’m not sure if the product changed or the bag has been tampered with.

submitted by Aimeef - 6 years ago
  • A: There are actually 2 J.R. Watkins products with very similar packaging, however one is "foaming hand soap" and the other is "Gel Hand Soap Refill" the one that is the watery consistency is the foaming hand soap I believe.

  • A: We have Gel Hand Soap and Foaming Hand Soap Refill pouches. Our Gel Hand Soap Refill is 34 oz, our Foaming Hand Soap is 28 oz. Our 11 oz Gel Hand Soap is pictured on the Gel Refill package while our 9 oz Foaming Hand Soap is pictured on the Foaming Refill package. To work correctly with a Gel pump, the Gel Hand Soap is "thicker" while the Foaming Hand Soap is less. My assumption is the second bag is a Foaming Refill

  • A: I often dilute this kind of soap (1 part soap, 2 parts water), shake it up, and use it to refill my foaming soap dispensers.

  • A: No, this product is not to be used in foaming dispensers, according to back label.

Q: does it remove bacon grease from hands?

submitted by waiting - 4 years ago
  • A: J.R. Watkins non-drying gel hand soap works into a soft lather for clean, freshly scented hands. We can't confirm specific food items but we suggest lathering our hand soap for 20 - 30 seconds to help address your needs.

Q: Is the fragrance naturally derived (from essential oils)? Fragrance/Parfum can be some of the most toxic ingredients and this product is being marketed as natural.

submitted by Frosty - 4 years ago
  • A: The lemon fragrance contains both natural and synthetic components. It does have lemon oil and other citrus oils. The fragrance complies to regulations (SB312/Prop65) and industry safety standards (IFRA); these regulations/standards ban substances that are toxic or harmful to people and environment.
