J.R. Watkins Lemon Liquid Hand Soap - 11 fl oz

I don’t recommend for those who are sensitive to strong scents. Other than that, it’s a fine soap and does the job.

I’ve used this hand soap for many years now. I loved that it was a faint lemon scent that would fade quickly and clean gently and well. This last batch I got smelled absolutely weird. It smells cheap like lemon fabuloso or something and the scent stays on your hands forever. I noticed other long term users have mentioned this in reviews as well. The company insists nothing has changed when I asked, but you are not pulling the wool over this nose. It is clearly different and they are cutting corners somewhere using a chemical vs fresh fragrance is my guess. What an absolute bummer, guess the search is on to find another brand that I can use for years to come!

What the heck happened?! I'll never understand why companies who sell amazing products change their formulas. I have been using this brand and this lemon scent for well over a decade. It kept getting harder to find in stores. I guess that was a clue that things were changing. Tonight I purchased two new pump bottles of this and two refill bags. Since the refill bags ended up being out of stock, I decided to read the reviews while I waited for pickup. Lots of negative reviews confused me because this scent was amazingly fresh! The closest to real lemon scent I'd found. Not anymore. I went to open the new pumps and couldn't get either to pop open, so I twisted off the whole top and couldn't wait for that fresh scent. Oh. Wow. NOPE. The best way I can describe the current scent is Lemon Pledge with a hint of Lestoil. When I was a kid, my uncle was a mechanic and Lestoil was what my aunt used to clean his greasy clothes. It's a scent you don't ever forget. I'm so disappointed. First they came for my favorite Yankee Candles, and now it's my favorite soap. Maybe new people who buy this will think it's okay, but for the die hard fans of this? Sorry, our fresh lemon is apparently gone.

I feel like it is so clean and so refreshing and definitely did its job. I also liked that it was not the typical foaming hand soap like the others in my vox box. I use this one in my kitchen and I feel like it is the perfect addition to all of my kitchen scents!

I did find it a bit weird when you open it, it does not open to where you see the front information, just the back. It's not a big deal, for me anyways. just kinda odd. over all would definitely buy this product.

This soap smells so good! It smells fresh and the perfect burst of summer. I love it! It is a good quality soap and definitely worth the price!

Light lemon scent. Pump top works well. I like that you can get a larger refill bag. I always keep some as hand soap by the kitchen sink. Washes off well and leaves hands moisturized.

Refreshing and neutral smelling. Doesn’t leave a film and doesn’t dry your hands out from excessive hand washing. Give it a try

It has gotten nearly impossible to find a good fragrance free hand soap. I used to use Method, but Target never has it and the other Method soaps with scents make me sick (migraine, asthma). In desperation I thought I'd try JR Watkins because they only use natural ingredients. This was a great find -- the scent is not strong, and it does not linger on my hands, so I can tolerate it (no headache!!). So for those who are looking for a fragrance free soap, you might try this. While not fragrance free, it does not have the awful chemicals that many of the "aromatherapy" soaps have that make me sick.

Since the pandemic I’ve washed my hands more frequently and other hands soaps/foams would dry my hands. I have look for an alternative and came across this. It does the purpose and is gentle on the hands. My hands would be very dry to the point where I would need lotion. After using this and still constantly washing my hands I don’t need lotion. I have seen much improvement on my hands 🙌 the smell is very pleasant not too strong. Glad to have found this gem 🤩

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always loved this brand and this soap is no exception. The feel is super smooth and doesn’t dry your hands out. The smell is fantastic and not too overly lemon like a cleaning product. It’s got a perfect citrus smell.

Purchased this because Target had a coupon for it. I also like that it was plant based and more natural than the soaps I normally use. It works well to remove dirt and grease on my hands. 1 star removal because not the best smell but tolerable. At the first sniff you can tell it’s plant based. Has an outdoor type smell

Was a tab bit hard to open

Really happy I purchased this. I love fresh lemon scent and this delivers. It’s a really nice true lemon scent. I think it lathers well and leaves my hands clean and smelling so nice. I was looking at buying the cheap hand soap but it’s filled with so many icky ingredients that aren’t found in this. It’s worth the little bit of extra money!

Cute label and it smell light and refreshing. No residue.
