Jade Leaf Matcha Latte Mix - Vanilla - 3.5oz

There is no hint of matcha and the vanilla tastes awful and really artificial. Would not buy again

This is a no from me! I couldn’t taste the matcha and the vanilla tasted artificial!

Tastes like matcha with coconut and playdough. I had to throw it away. I'll stick with the plain.

Horrible artificial vanilla taste. Definitely left a bad aftertaste. I used it with oat milk and couldn’t get past the weird vanilla smell / taste

To preface this, I LOVE the Jade Leaf matcha, both the culinary grade and regular sweetened types. But this vanilla one is NOT it. I wanted to try this to replicate the matcha iced latte I get at Starbucks with pumps of vanilla. Unfortunately, the vanilla flavoring is ULTRA FAKE and completely overpowers the matcha. I love sweet drinks too, but it was so unbearably sweet that it made me gag! I couldn't put less matcha in it either, because then I'd just be drinking vanilla milk with a hint of matcha since it's not the strongest anyways. This fake vanilla smell even LINGERED in my cup and shaker after I dumped it out! So gross!!! P.S: If you want vanilla flavoring in your matcha, use the regular jade leaf matcha and add Torani vanilla syrup yourself. So much better!!! (And you can control the sweetness to your liking.)

Made this with hot frothed whole milk. It was delicious. I liked the vanilla flavor, it is more on the vanilla side than matcha.

Following instructions on package, as a hot drink, it was a little filmy and left an aftertaste. The vanilla flavoring is noticeably a flavoring and not natural. Might be better cold. If I were to try this brand again, I wouldn't purchase vanilla flavored. I also assumed this was pouches based on my search but this is one pouch.

It literally tastes and smells like playdo. It has a very artificial vanilla flavor that masks all the matcha. I normally don’t write reviews and I’m not super picky about my matcha but this was so bad I had to write one. Seriously a huge let down from the original latte mix.

DOES NOT TASTE LIKE MATCHA OR VANILLA!! I typically purchase their regular sweetened matcha, this one tastes NOTHING like that. The flavor is almost like chemicals mixed with coconut, it doesn’t taste anything like matcha OR vanilla.

I love this brand for their matcha so I thought I would try the vanilla one. Not a huge fan as the vanilla flavoring is too artificial tasting.

The flavor was very artificial vanilla. Not really any matcha flavor. While I was mixing the drink I could smell it and knew it wouldn’t be good. I haven’t tried their other products, maybe those are better.

It taste like vanilla protein powder not a hint of matcha.

The vanilla flavor is more like vanilla cupcake which isn’t for me. It was hard to finish the entire drink.

It tastes more like a sugar cookie or birthday cake flavor. Kind of disapointing because you can't taste the matcha hardly at all. I usually love this brand, but this flavor is not for me.

This matcha was AWFUL. I love the flavor of actual matcha so i bought this thinking that it would be great. I WAS SO WRONG. Do not buy this. Waste of 11 dollars. The vanilla tastes SO artificial.

I was expecting a sweetened vanilla flavor like what you get when you go to the coffee shop, this Matcha taste and smells like it’s birthday cake flavored. Not a fan.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this is the first matcha i've ever tried and while i do think it tasted like grass (all matcha does to me) i can see why someone would enjoy this jade leaf vanilla matcha. the sweetness and flavor of the vanilla was rlly nice and made the matcha taste better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I receive the package I love how they containing their name in the package and when I take it out and read ingredient, there are friendly and mostly natural. Open the seal the aroma pop up with vanilla just like you eat a durian and they goes straight into ur nose.👃
