Summary of reviews
This eyelash curler has received mixed reviews from guests. While some appreciate its sturdiness and ability to hold a curl, others have experienced issues with the black color making it hard to see eyelashes, the handle snapping, and the rubber part falling out. Some guests have also reported that it ripped out their eyelashes or did not curl effectively. The curler's performance seems to vary significantly among users.

Bought this eyelash curler for the first time about a year ago, worked okay but not great after about a month it broke and ripper out a chunk of them. I started using it again not to long ago but the rubber piece went over the metal and it cut off a big chunk of my eyelashes. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Doesn’t hold a curl at alllll and it literally broke while I was using it. I was so lucky it didn’t damage my eye.

Hi! We’re sorry you didn’t have a great experience with out Pro Performance Lash Curler. This is an unusual experience, and we recommend exchanging your curler for a different one. Please also be mindful that each curler has a designated eye shape. For example, the Pro Performance Eyelash Curler is best for almond, deep-set & monolid eyes. Best, JAPONESQUE Customer Service

The mechanics on this are flimsy. It snapped and ripped all of my lashes out on the first use. Do not buy this.

We are so sorry you had this experience. Our lash curlers are designed to curl natural lashes only. It’s extremely important to not curl lashes that have mascara on them. It can cause the lashes to stick to the pad which can cause lash loss.

I have super straight lashes that only curl for about 2 mins. I thought this would work because of reviews but it did not. Still on the search for a good curler

i’m gonna start this review off my saying my eyelashes never stay curled!!! i have had trouble with other eyelash curlers because they don’t grab onto the lashes on my outer corners but this one was able to so i was already impressed by that. i use waterproof mascara so that might be why they stayed curled for so long, but i think it’s a great eyelash curler anyway. it didn’t rip out any of my lashes but that’s never happened to me so i’ll keep using and see if that happens. i attached a photo of my lashes so you can see i have pretty long lashes to begin with but gave them a really nice lift 🤗 only issue is i hate that it’s so wide and it’s a little pricey but i’m kind of cheap…

I never curl my lashes because any curler I've ever tried doesn't fit my eye or lash line. They're usually too curved and I end up hitting my brow bone with the curler on the outer edge of my eye, which causes weird looking crimps halfway up in my outer lashes. I just gave up - until my daughter purchased this one. It's definitely more flat than a regular curler and I can get in my eye socket and all the way to my ENTIRE lash line with this. I was absolutely amazed after trying it!! I think it's important to note that this curler is labeled for ALMOND-SHAPED EYES, so may not work as well for someone with more round eyes. I also really like the handle, and to me, it's comfortable and feels really sturdy. Haven't ripped any lashes out yet - fingers crossed.

The black paint on the curler was stripping already after I took it out of the box brand new. The black color makes it hard to see eyelashes. Going to return.

I dye my lashes monthly and curl them every morning, no mascara. I LOVE this curler. It’s hefty and powerful and easy to handle, my lashes last all day curled sometimes even when I cry! Ignore the reviews saying it cut their eye lashes, I’m assuming they just pressed down too hard lol. Every eyelash curler has reviews saying it cuts their lashes, it just happens with this tool if you’re not careful🤷♀️ Only thing is the handle snapped after about a year of using it, and the rubber part would fall out allll the time it was so annoying. Also sometimes I feel like it curled my lashes differently on each eye but idk if thats because of my lashes or the tool
Big yikes-- pass on this one!!

The handles are like insanely far apart, making it difficult to hold (included comparison pic to another lash curler to show the difference). It does an incredibly poor job of curling lashes- it takes me so long to get a nice curl compared to my previous lash curler and then the curl doesn’t even hold well. It feels incredibly cheap, the lower bar on my curler is completely crooked (pic included) and the entire tool squeaks while using. After reading other reviews of people’s lashes getting ripped out I’m just going to consider myself lucky. Definitely pass on this one, it’s not worth the price!

do not buy! went to use this curler for the first time, go to pull it away from my eye, a big chunk of my lashes were stuck to it, and also hanging off of my lash line :( i've been using cheap silver curlers forever, never had this issue

The black color makes it impossible to differentiate between actual eyelashes and curler. I have clumps of eyelashes missing from this beast and it cut other lashes in half. Curler broke after a week, which is the best thing that happened after purchasing this worthless curler. Only recommend purchasing if you're sick of having eyelashes. This puppy will get rid of them for you in no time!

This is absolutely the worst eyelash curler I've ever used! Hard to tell if your eyelashes are inside the curler, after a few uses, my eyelashes got shorter and shorter. The pressure is so tight, it broke my eyelashes.

For some people it’s really good so I decided to buy it but when I tried curling my lashes they barely went up and if they did curl they would not stay up at all. I don’t know why they wouldn’t curl considering my lashes aren’t short but they aren’t too long where a lash curler wouldn’t work. This lash curler is just not for me I guess
your lashes wont get cut if....

i figured out why some peoples lashes were getting cut. it’s a fault in packing when it’s in the box they have a piece of plastic to hold the curler shut and that causes a crease in the pad. usually when you see a line in the pad that means it’s time to get a new curler. so to prevent that just remove the pad and replace with the spare pad and you won’t have to worry about it cutting your lashes. mine never got cut and are fine.
