Methylcobalamin (Methyl B-12) is better absorbed and retained than other forms of B-12 (such as cyanocobalamin.) Methyl B-12 protects nerve tissue and brain cells and promotes healthy sleep. Methyl B-12 is a cofactor of methionine synthase, which reduces toxic homocysteine to the essential amino acid methionine. Methylcobalamin also protects eye function against toxicity caused by excess glutamate. Each chewable tablet provides 5,000 micrograms of Methyl B-12.

I have used Jarrow Methyl B-12 1000 mcg for year; and recently decided to switch to 5000 mcg. Today I made the switch and am very disappointed! The smell and taste of the cherry flavor is overpowering! I would not recommend the 5000 mcg; and plan to ask for a refund! The Jarrow 1000 mcg has a lot subtler flavor that I find preferable; and there is no overpowering smell either!

Better than Swanson brand because it doesn’t have unnecessary additives that make me nauseated. Gives me energy ! I take 1 or 2 everyday.

The best B-12 I have ever found. It really works and gives you mega amounts of B-12 much of what is needed for your clear brain function. By the way, B-12 keeps the mosquitoes away as a bonus. The Lozenges are very tasty and easy to dissolve in your mouth

I have the MTHFR mutation so I depend on extra B-12 to remain stable. This one was recommended by a Dr who understands MTHFR. (They are somewhat few and far between.)

I chew the Vitamin - D pill and try to put remaining pieces under my tongue to melt. My Dr wants me to take it this way. Has a good taste as well.

My wife and I have been using this product for several years now. and find that it has a nice flavor as the tablets dissolve in your mouth. Vitamin B-12 is one of the main B vitamins needed for good brain health and essential for our well being.

Jarrow did a great job on this methyl B-12. This tablet has the correct consistency & size to dissolve slowly enough to be fully absorbed. Any faster & to much would just be swallowed (which defeats the whole purpose of a sublingual). 5,000 mcg is a pretty strong dose so I had to work up to a full tab (2 weeks), but this amount (if not a little more) is what my body was wanting. If it's to much, I take half a tab the next day or two, but I really like this 5,000 mcg dose of methyl B-12, it sort of "plugs right in" & gets right down to business. Perfect! Thanks for carrying Jarrow guy's --- you guy's rock!

My Dr. recommended a B-12 supplement and I am glad I found this one. It is a tasty under the tongue lozenge that you slowly let dissolve. It tastes more like a sweet-tart than a vitamin.

I was hoping to get energy from the pills, but I really didn't get a buzz. Takes good though. I think it may me feel a little funny too (in the head). Makes you sleep good I noticed.
