Love this zinc because it contains copper

Not too many meds/supplements agree with me. This is pretty tolerable considering taking zinc makes my stomach hurt.

I use it regularily and will go on with it as for all my favorites

I've tried many zinc products and they all disagreed with me. Caused runny sinuses. This made me feel better and my night vision is great. I see clearly at night while driving instead of signs and lights having halos and vision is sharper. I also like that it has copper. Takes the worry out of taking zinc.

Zinc and copper should always be supplemented together, and in the proper ratio. This supplement from Jarrow is perfectly balanced.

The first zinc supplement I tried cause a fairly violent reaction-- threw up my breakfast!-- but this one has proven to be very mild and I have no reason to discontinue taking it.

This is the perfect ratio of zinc to copper at a sensible daily dosage of 15mg especially when combined with a multi vitamin that already has zinc.

i chose this version since it is in a lower dose of 15mg as opposed to 30mg. optizinc claims that it has better uptake and retention than other forms of zinc

This form of highly available zinc has been known to gently increase testosterone levels. This is great news for men, and reason for women to find a different form if they begin to experience acne and facial hair growth.

Balancing zinc with copper is a very good idea. I also like how OptiZinc is supposed to have better absorption -- it says it resists interference from fiber and phytic acid, which can be a problem when you're supplementing with zinc. Great product, great price, great convenience -- I'm glad I bought this. I also should say that I always take zinc along with a selenium supplement, and occasionally also with vitamin E and CoQ10 (I'm not sure how accurate this is synergistically, but as far as I know, zinc and selenium work together, selenium works with vitamin E, and vitamin E works with CoQ10). Anyway, I use Selenoexcell along with this product, and am very happy with that. Always be careful not to overdo it with minerals/fat soluble vitamins, but use common sense and you should be fine.
