I love the color and it is long lasting. Very good quality! 100% recommended!

Very pigmented, blends well & stays put great set (I did set it with a little powder shadow).

The product is creamy, lays down pigment well, however it stung my eyes and makes them itch.

I like the shade (along with several others) and the ever so slight sparkle look that it gives. I also like that this goes on extremely smoothly and is easy to smear to the thickness or thinness I like. I had been using three shades of brown across my eyelid for the look I wanted, but I can get a similar look with just one Jason Wu product. This is much faster to apply and takes only one product for the same look! Excellent product!

Second this pigment is seriously so good and for a cream eyeshadow it do s not budge. The wear test was tremendous it will last till you are ready to remove it. This was an impulse buy because I can’t resist a sale item lol, but I use it in my everyday makeup routine in my inner corner as a brightening highlight situation and it lasts all day! The shimmer is subtle but absolutely stunning plus the formula is soft and creamy, blends delightfully.

It glides on so creamy and is very easy to blend and build on the eye. I also love that it does not drag across the thin eyelid skin instead slides effortlessly across it. Now onto the color itself. I will admit that purple is not always my go to shade when choosing eye shadow however I was pleasantly surprised how much I loved this shade. The jason wu jewel stick goes on so smoothly without tugging on your eyelid. Ive used this both with and without eye primer and honestly it holds up pretty well on its own! I adore the purple pearl color as purple is my favorite color. It has a sheen to it that doesn't come off as super glittery either. I tend to use this jewel stick to line my upper eyelids but it also blends out nicely with a brush if you wanted more of a smokey look. This jewel stick is great because it can be easily applied even on your lips if you want! As a makeup artist for over 8 years, I believe this is a great product for on the go and especially everyday use. The Jason Wu Beauty Jewel Stick - Purple Pearl is sooo nice!!! First off, it’s literally a beautiful jewel toned purple with light glitter in it. I was able to blend this product nicely but you do have to work quick and I’ve noticed it dries down pretty quick. Once it’s dries down…that thing isn’t moving lol. A tip in which I like to do with this eye stick is to use a nice Neutral eyeshadow on your upper lids and then use this stick on the lower lash line to give that pop of color. Add some mascara and wow!!!! I’m telling you…I love the color and formula. My eyes pop with this color. Also, if your in a rush, you can also add this quick on your upper lids and blend it out to sheer it out a bit, add mascara and boom! As a mom with a full time RN job plus content creation on the side, I like products that are easy/convenient to apply with less tools or without brushes. Hence, eyeshadow sticks has been my go to for my lids. I typically go for warm shades (copper, terracotta) or pinks so I was not so sure if I can pull off a pigmented purple shade with shimmers. The formula is creamy and easy to blend even with my fingers. I’ve tried an eyeshadow brush with this as well so it’s just a matter of preference or if you will be blending with other colors. It gives a more dramatic feel so i prefer this for a date/night time look as you can see on the photo. I did not notice any actual glitter/shimmer that will fall out or scatter on the face. This was the perfect color for me since I have dark brown eyes, it accentuates the color of my eyes. I tried it in both ways, as an eyeshadow and eyeliner. I love that this is Retractable and has a sharpener when you pull out the bottom end! You can apply this as an eyeliner directly on, or with a flat eyeliner brush. As an Eyeshadow, you can blend it with your fingers or with a brush. I prefer using a small smudge brush or a small Domed brush.
