The table apron does not have a finish coat, placing black paint on the top of dining chairs arms. The photo illustrates the table apron edge psing that rubbed off on our towels and same situation for our dining chair arms.

this is NOT a true black table. i read one review that said it was brown and another that said it was true black. I am here to clarify that this is NOT black, it's dark BROWN. See picture of it next to a black surface. Quality of item looks great, i was truly disapponted that I had to lug this thing out of the house and back to target (130 lb box). I love this table a lot. Just a little bummed that it had a crack :(. But I kept it. Got tired of dealing with the same issue with other vendors. Between the wait time and defects, I can live with it. It’s probably a shipping issue. Still looks great and the chairs are also from Target. And the accent cabinet.
