I'm a young adult living alone for the first time and have finally given up on fast food, so I grabbed this product at the grocery store hoping it would be a nice, lean protein source for breakfast. I noticed it was "seasoned" but, never give pre-seasoned food much credit until I've cooked and tasted it myself. I was super surprised after cooking this "sausage" by how delicious it was considering it's turkey and not the traditional pork sausage. It's made my breakfast super easy and protein packed!
I would buy this product again and again, but what is in it?

What is in it? The ingredient list hides the presence of potential allergens by the categorical inclusion SPICES. I and my family could be seriously harmed under that practice. This Hormel Foods practice also seems to hide the possible business fact that the specific "spices" varies to meet the needs of each batch of meat to become marketable. Best if there were the usual verbiage regarding food allergens of specific ones potentially being present and then accurately listing them.
in my grocery rotation I add it to all my turkey meals

I think the people giving this product a bad review have been drinking (heavily), or it wasn't the All Natural Turkey Sausage. Dry, flavorless, tastes like dog food, half water? Keeping in mind this is NOT pork, its turkey. Like most people I find it delicious and very edible. Not sure what the "one star" crew are talking about. As for the water weight after cooking, doesn't pork do the same thing, but instead of water its FAT?

Wish I had found this earlier… I like the taste of pork sausage but never liked the gristle in it. Omgosh… since I have alpha gal I've been trying new things with only turkey or chicken. So happy to have this now and no gristle! No artificial preservatives or flavors!! Awesome flavor and texture! Sausage I actually enjoyed! I appreciate this product!
My go to sausage and I eat this every day.

I have this for breakfast, and I really like it. I was diagnosed with autoimmune disorders and this is the ONLY sausage that I have found that does not cause me harm. Yes, it took time getting used to from regular sausage but now I don't want any other kind/type of sausage.

This is one of the lowest calorie breakfast sausages I've been able to find that still tastes like sausage. Absolutely love this mixed in with some eggs. If I only had one complaint it would be that their seems to be a lot of weight lost through water while cooking.

The human body has no need for sugar because it has zero nutritional value and harms the blood stream and vital organs. Why not just leave the product alone like your regular ground Turkey that you do not add sugar to.

Claims to be 90% lean and 10% fat but I beg to differ. I had to drain so much fat and when I had it in my taco shell (with nothing else but turkey meat) there was even more fat dripping out the end. Trying to help my gallbladder by eating leaner meat and this was by no means leaner meat. Would not buy again.

Most people think this is low fat but understand that 54% of this is fat. They make you think its low fat by telling you its 6g of fat but if you want to know the percentage of fat you take the total fat grams and times it by 9( 9 calories per gram), then take that total and divide it by the total calories (100) and that will be your percentage of fat. Formula for this would be 6x9=54. 54/100=0.54. .54= 54%

I browned a PKG and froze the crumbles to use sparingly as needed . But also sliced it, cooked as patties and froze them to pull out one at a time

It does have water content, but I love the taste ! Just divide the Lb into 4 patties and cook one for breakfast. You don't need any added condiments because the flavor is amazing. This is my new breakfast meat. I was looking for an alternative to eggs and I found it!!

I use the sausage in my spaghetti and pasta recipes also for chili. It's a great alternative to regular ground turkey and beef out of 10 I would recommend all my friends. And the price is great!!

I bought Jennie O turkey sausage because like a number of people I felt branded product might be better than store packaged bulk. I used this sausage to make breakfast muffins and the receipt called for it to be browned before use. OK, fine...the amount of water that cooked out of the sausage was outrageous. I ended up draining almost 1/2 a cup of water out of the browned sausage. This means I didn't get a full pound of sausage is 4 oz, or a 1/4 pound. I'll pay less for store packaged bulk sausage in the future.
