Description
Older kids, teens, and tweens need a scooter sized and styled for them, and the Jetson Hex Big Wheel Kick Scooter is it. The 8” wheels give just enough extra lift off the ground to allow for more powerful pushing, and they ride smooth and fast. The standing deck is oversized -- 23” long and 6” wide – to accommodate bigger sneaks, which stay put thanks to the anti-slip standing surface. The height-adjustable handlebar is also made for comfort, with padded grips to hold onto. When riders arrive at their destination, or just pull back into the driveway for a snack break, they can prop the Hex up on its kickstand. It folds in half for easy storage, carry, and transport -- making it easy to bring the Hex wherever adventures await. The Jetson Hex Big Wheel Kick Scooter is recommended for riders ages 8 and up.

We got this for my niece who is 4.5 yo. She just started riding a two-wheeled scooter. This scooter was great for her because the wheels are bigger and give her a smoother ride. She also feels comfortable with the wider base. My nephew (6 yo) also loves to ride it. 10/10 would recommend.

This scooter is a great addition to our other Jetson products. The kids love riding it and the larger wheels give it a smooth ride. The wide base where you put your foot and adjustable handlebars make it a great scooter for older kids (and adults!), but my 6 year old was also able to ride it. The assembly was quick and easy and everything was included in the box. I also love that it folds up easily for storage.

So, basically, this is the worst scooter I have ever bought. The instructions were for an entirely different design. The screws are not metal. They are plastic with an aluminum coating. So, no surprise, one was already broken when we opened the box. Also, no surprise, it was a return that Target simply taped back up and put on the shelf. Save your money an extra month if you have to. Just don't buy this thing. Even if it looks OK, and the screws are not already broken, how long will that last since they are cheap plastic things?

I bought this for my tall 7 year old because he has outgrown all the other scooters for older kids. This will last him for a long while. It extends high and is perfect for tall kids! The wheels are great on all terrain even rough terrain. My son loves this scooter and so nice that it folds up for easy storage and to take along with us. Made very well!

I bought 3 for my older children for Christmas presents. The love them. The front axle lost a screw on one pretty early. The Jetson team took care of it right away and I’ll be getting replacement parts any day now to get him rolling again.

I am a 230lb guy. I rode this scooter for the first time the other day and it held up just fine. There is however, the slightest bit of wobble when shifting weight to turn. I will keep things updated here as time goes on this summer with more frequent use.
