Q: I just bought a new jar of peanut butter the same as this and it was about a half inch oil at the top and it says no stir needed so why is that.
A: Oil separation is unusual in Jif Peanut Butter and is generally the result of warm or improper storage conditions during transportation or storage before reaching shelves.
