This rug is beautiful, super soft and thick but not so thick you would trip over. Laid flat almost instantly out of the package. The vanilla bean color over all looks light cream and has gray/taupe under tone with black flecks. Ordered 2 runners at first and then went back for a 6x9.

Ive only had this rug a short time, but so far I really like it. It does shed a lot, but Im hoping that it slows down. It does have more of a gray cast so may not work with beiges.

I cannot say enough good things about this rug. I’ve only had it for a week or so but it has blown us away. The quality of this rug is phenomenal. The color is neutral perfection. It has the perfect amount of cream, few gray and black flecks. It has so much character and variations in the rug it’s interesting to look at. And it’s incredibly difficult to capture how beautiful the rug truly is without it pulling more black and gray spots in the photo. Although those striations are present, It’s not that way seeing it with the naked eye. It is a nice thickness and nice and soft, it isn’t itchy and feels great under foot. It has not shed a bit, but I was on top of vacuuming daily for the first 4 days. By day 4, there was nothing in the vacuum. It does need a pad underneath or rug tape to keep it from sliding on hard floor surfaces. It was also the perfect length for my space and I was happy to see so many lengths for this runner. Most other sites don’t offer that many lengths. Shipping didn’t go out the same day as I had hoped but it was pretty fast and wrapped nicely. There were no smells present. For my first experience with this company, it was a great one. I don’t think I would purchase another rug elsewhere. HG who? Also, please don’t get rid of this particular pattern or rug. This Jill Zarin rug is GREAT! And I need this same pattern and will be ordering in a larger size. ;)

Often rugs look great in pics, but when they arrive I am disappointed in how thin and cheap they look. This rug is nice and thick, strong, no pilling occurring. I’m quite happy with this purchase.
