The texture of these are like rubber. They don’t look like meat when you cut them in half they look like pressed rubber. Their flavor is over spiced but not meat. Would not recommend this.

The taste is somewhat like breakfast sausage but the texture is rubbery after heating in a microwave. I will try the oven or a skillet next time and hope for better. I am on a ckd diet and was seeking less sodium and potassium with good taste. Drove 60 miles just to get some tonight but would not rate them as wonderful as many reviews have done. Better than constant chicken breasts or oatmeal however. I have eaten JD pork sausage for years and loved it. Not a lot of commonality to the turkey sausage however in my opinion.

I’ve bought several other turkey patties and let me tell you these are the worst. As others mentioned really rubbery and not at all pleasant to eat.

I don’t know who needs to hear this but somebody needs to! The turkey sausage patties are the WORSE! It’s like chewing on a big brown rubber band that the postal office uses for mail! Somebody literally bottled up a truck tire and called it Jimmy Dean Turkey Sausage Patty! Both the texture and taste is rubbery!!And I’ve tried these before and it was the same but there won’t be a 3rd time.TERRIBLE!

We've enjoyed many Jimmy Dean products over the years. These Turkey sausage patties are the worst. I've never actually chewed on rubber but after eating these sausage patties I have a fairly good idea what the texture would be. I am perplexed by reviews that liked these things. Maybe we got a bad batch. We are not inclined to purchase any more.

Someone else said they are concerned about the way these are processed and now I am too. I threw the first batch away after it came out of the microwave rubbery. I then decided to stove cook it and same result. I will not be buying these again.

I bought these thinking the lower bday would be better for my stomach issues. They are rubbery and tough. I’ve cooked them several ways to insure I’m not overcooking them. I will be returning them for a refund.

The original had far more flavor and convenience for us oldsters. To us the Pattie’s are drier, have less flavor (need more fennel), less meaty texture. Also, kept fresher because of smaller shrink wrapped packaging. They were easy to crumble with a fork and add to meatloaf or sauces for a pork like taste. On a positive note, the Pattie’s do seem less salty.

Tastes good, a little salty. I browned them and they were great. Yes, they're weirdly chewy but that's why I like them. Unfortunately, this box gave my family food poisoning symptoms. I'm waiting until weekdays to call their customer service number. Surprised because I cooked them further (I don't trust "fully cooked/washed"). I didn't deduct that from the rating.

I love Jimmy Dean Fully Cooked Turkey Sausage Patties. I browned them a bit in the frying pan for a minute on each side, and bring them to my breakfast, book club meetings, and other outings. They are a big hit!
