There is a vertical stitch seam on left side of band that I wish was less obvious. The material used in the gusset is where this thong is different. It’s about twice as thick as a regular cotton gusset and feels like a flexible smooth canvas. As far as absorbing it worked perfect on my lighter days. They feel good I even wear them when I don’t have my period. I’m a size small.

I did not like how thick the back strap is because it is uncomfortable, and if you are to use this for your period I would recommend just not wearing a thong.

The bonus is that it has the new leak-proof technology sewn into it. As a woman of a "certain age" I can attest to its reliability for those little oopsie moments from a sneeze, or picking up something just a little too heavy. Because it is a thong and because of female anatomy, I would be reluctant to trust the thong if I were a female of child-bearing years for period absorption.

The fabric is super comfortable, and I love that the absorbency panel doesn’t feel big or bulky. The shape/cut of the panties aren’t my favorite, but that’s my opinion based on my body shape. Overall, I still love to wear them and will continue to use them when I need a little extra protection from leaks.

However, I thought that in this case, there is very little coverage in the crotch, and that is a problem for me. The pad is very narrow and then gets more narrow toward the back. If I were expecting my period, I would be very nervous that it would leak through, though the pad has good absorbency. I would think that a different style would be much better. It washed up nicely and held its shape well. The fabric is soft, and I liked the lace waistband. It's very delicate and sexy.

They have a nice thick band on top, flatten my tummy, and do not slip down. I would like the thong to be a little narrower. They are holding up well after multiple washes. There are no uncomfortable seams. They look very nice on and are comfortable to sleep and exercise in. The thick band on top keeps the top from rolling when I bend. No 'front wedgies' which is nice.
