Q&A(2)

Q: Why can’t I use 100 instead of 60

submitted by Ms L - 3 years ago
  • A: Hi - the sockets used in this design can use a maximum 60 watt bulb, so it's just the way the design is made and the sockets that are used. If you want more light than provided by a 60 watt incandescent, we would recommend using an LED bulb, which produces far more light for the same wattage of energy used.

Q: We live in farm country with a lot of blowing dirt. Does this fixture come apart easily for yearly cleaning?

submitted by MJ - 5 years ago
  • A: Hi - sure, you can use LED bulbs with these lamps, just make sure you don't exceed the socket rating of a maximum 60 watt bulb.
