A: The Creamy Baby Oil with Aloe Vera & Vitamin E has not been tested or approved for use as a Mosquito/Bug Repellent. We don’t recommend using any product outside of its intended use.

Ok, so I know they changed the formula because the old stuff was supposed to have formaldehyde and other not safe ingredients. Who knew I was putting stuff that preserves dead bodies on my skin? So I was glad to hear they changed the formula, but it's not anything like the old stuff. It has the same smell, but no longer feels silky smooth once it's absorbed. It leaves a matte finish on my face which used to look dewy. It no longer has that little bit of shimmer in it either. I'm all for safer products but this still needs work to come closer to the original product and how it performed before. Please reformulate again Johnson's. You're a good company but you struck out with this one.

The new version seems to be subtly thicker, so the bottle doesn't last nearly as long. Not to mention the even bigger issue - it longer prevents mosquito bites! HUGE, GIGANTIC BUMMER!!!! I bought this lotion religiously but will no longer be purchasing.

They updated this lotion and it no longer repels mosquitoes. I put it on my children and myself before a hike and it was like the mosquitoes were drawn to the smell. We were bit numerous times. The previous version worked amazingly and we didn’t get bit all summer. Please go back to the old formula!

This stuff was absolutely amazing. Best moisturizer I’ve ever put on my face. Problem is it seems they’ve changed the formula and it isn’t good anymore. Luckily I have 2 fully bottles left of the old formula. Truly a shame

The product advertised on the Target site is NOT what is being sold. This is a reformulated version without Shea butter or cocoa butter, and is sticky and heavy after application in comparison to the old product. Not only that, the smell is much stronger. Target needs to update their information immediately, this is false advertising.

I purchased this June of 2024. They changed the bottle and noticed the ingredients are different. There’s no more shea butter in it and it now has seed oils… 😕 what a bummer. The original formula was perfect why did they have to change it? Now idk if it’s will be as effective.

The bottles came in the box covered in black. I had to use cleaner to get them clean. I can pick up a dirty bottle and and then rub lotion on my baby with dirty hands.

You have always been a fan of your baby products! My kids are long grown, but I still have them around my house for myself. I’ve always been a little more sensitive. Plus I love the smells. I Try this product because I love using oil but I found it really a little too oily for me. This product was absolutely perfect. I live in Las Vegas and I can apply it and it’s not really greasy and I can apply more than once during the day and it’s perfect, the smell is right on! I wish there was a way I could order it in a case no kidding. I wish they were even more Fragrances to choose from, but this is wonderful. Please never discontinue this product, and I recommend it to everybody no matter what age.
