Q&A(7)

Q: WHY DON'T YOU INCLUDE TAPE? OTHERWISE THESE PADS ARE WORTHLESS.

submitted by dipladenia - 1 year ago
  • A: We’ll pass along your suggestion to include tape with the non-stick pads, but you can find several options for medical tape on our website here: https://www.band-aid.com/products/tapes-wraps.

Q: If using the pad to cover a facial wound, what's best to use with it to keep it in place? Is there a tape or are regular bandaids ok to use?

submitted by Patricia - 3 years ago
  • A: Hi Patricia, thanks for asking! When using a non stick pad, we recommend applying a medical tape (like our Hurt-Free First-Aid Medical Paper Tape!) on all four sides of the pad, then applying to the wound to ensure a full four-edged seal to best protect it. If you'd like to learn more about every day wound care, please check out the First Aid Info tab on our website!

Q: Is "Large" 3x8"? It would be nice if the dimensions were listed in the description. The image says to see back of the box for dimensions, however, there is no image of the back of the box.

  • A: Thanks for reaching out, these bandages are 3x4" pads!

Q: Confused... Is the plastic taken off or do you use the entire plastic gauze as it is on top of the wound!?

submitted by Nina - 4 years ago
  • A: Thanks for the question! The plastic covering should be kept on as that's what makes it non-stick!

Q: Are these pads folded up to make layers or not? I need gauze pads that fold out (like a blanket)

submitted by Bex - 5 years ago
  • A: Thanks for your question. These non-stick pads do not fold out like a blanket, they are 3” x 4”.

Q: Are these individually packed or sterile?

submitted by Ducks - 6 years ago
  • A: Hey Ducks! Each pad is individually wrapped and is sterile unless individual wrapper is opened or damaged. Have a great day!

submitted by tinamarie - 6 years ago
