These shoes are not only attractive but they are comfortable with or without socks. Just great shoes!

Excellent pair of shoes. The leather is buttery smooth and the color is top tier. Well worth the money and I am already receiving so many compliments. They also seem to magically erase sweat if you decide to rock them barefoot!

My Baldwin Penny loafers are not only stylish but also so comfortable that I can wear them without socks. I bought them in cognac and black. Also, I have a 12 narrow shoe size so it's difficult to find shoes but the Johnston & Murphy medium is a perfect fit. I would highly recommend their shoes for anyone with a narrow foot.

Linda was very helpful in answering my questions on the softness of the tan leather Penny loafers. She suggested leather balm to looking nice. The company answered my many questions and everyone was pleasant and helpful.

I have buying Johnson and Murphy shoes for years. This pair of sheepskin shoes is probably the very best pair I purchased. I love the look, feel and price.

Purchased this sheepakin loafer with a classic style hoping they would be more comfortable than my leather ones. They are very comfortable, but fit true to size but not quite as stylish I'll take the trade off in these less formal times.

Great looking fitting shoe. I purchased for myself then my grandson loved them so purchased a pair for this birthday. I did note that the pic on the website shoes them with brown soles but they actually have black soles.

Size was correct, soles were fine and fit was comfortable

Why would you not manufacture these Baldwin series shoes in wide? Are you a manufacturer of shoes or an inporter of whats available. Why is this series of shoes only available in medium? I have since bought a pair of your Hawkins Venetian series shoes in 10w and they fit great. I have returned the penny loafers. awaiting a refund. Thank you

Within 2 months, I purchased Cresswell Venetians that fit fine and Baldwin Penny's that are too tight on the top of the shoe. The two pairs are similar enough to expect a similar fit. Both pairs are size 8.

These shoes are so soft and comfortable, and they look very nice on. They fit true to size as well. I would highly recommend these shoes.

I'm sad about these shoes. I like how they look, they're comfortable, and they fit well. However, they are extremely slippery on hard surfaces. The soles have patches of a material that feels like some sort of vinyl or plastic, rough and grabby to the touch. That seemed like a good idea, because leather soles can sometimes be a bit slippery. But these soles were much more slippery than I have ever experienced before, on dry pavement, on a hardwood floor, and on tile. I did not feel safe walking down my street, which has a 15% slope on dry asphalt pavement. Worst was our outside stairway, which is made of Trex, a common composite decking material. Trex has a rough, textured, non-slip surface, which has always worked great for us in all kinds of shoes in all kinds of weather. But in these shoes it's like walking on glare ice. Even trying to go down our steps slowly and carefully, in warm dry weather, my feet suddenly slid out from under me and I fell head first to the bottom. Not badly injured, but I simply can't trust these. The manufacturer should reconsider the material used on these soles, to make them less dangerous.
