Q: The description states hot water up to 140 degrees. Someone already asked about boiling water and was told no. Are you able to add how water and brew tea in this or not?

A: Please dont pour boiling water into this glass pitcher! Extreme temperature changes can cause the glass to shatter. The pitcher, though, is lead free.

I throw the glass part in the dishwasher and hand wash the plastic top. I don’t like the top of the pitcher however. The lid is very flimsy feeling and appears cheap. It does the job, but would have liked to see a thicker piece of plastic. I’ve so far used this pitcher for premade mimosas and coffee. It holds the 60 oz it states it does.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nicely made glass pitcher. Glass is thick and durable. Definitely holds 60 oz of any favorite beverages from water to tea to juice. The handle is easy to grab. And this pitcher is easy to clean as well. The lid is plastic. Both lids included in the box are a thin plastic. The lids are ok, but the plastic is thin and I worry it might crack/break over time. I do feel the plastic used for the lids could have been a higher quality plastic and thicker in texture. The lids are made of a thin white plastic and seem to be on the cheap side when compared to the nice quality glass pitcher. Would have liked to have had a better quality lid(s). .

I’m so disappointed. Purchase two so I could pour large juice bottles into them and have it fit in my fridge better, but of course, having not read the reviews, I missed a big issue… they don’t pour! They leak everywhere, down the side, around the cheap plastic lid, like a crappy waterfall. Completely defeats the purpose of them. I opened one and used it, but I’m 100% returning the second, unopened one. Absolute waste of money.

It feels like the capacity isn’t *quite* right - should be 60 ounces/7.5 cups, feels a little less but I haven’t measured it out to be sure. The lids fit nicely and secure but feel very cheap and flimsy. I wish they were a nicer grade of plastic. Also wish the handle was just a bit longer. Overall, beautiful on your table for brunches (I’ve used mine for OJ and iced coffee).

The lip is so small and it's impossible to pour with the lid on. Even when I take the top off it still pour bad and drips down the side.

I'm not sure the point of coming with an extra lid, more so takes up space for me. Only thing bad I would say was the product was too small for me, as a family of 5 I would have liked to see a bigger product but otherwise very great quality.

Wish we would have read the reviews prior to purchasing this pitcher. It leaks and spills all over the place when you try to pour. It’s so messy, it’s useless. Very disappointed with this purchase.

No way to avoid dribbling

However the lid is positioned, however fast or slow I pour, there is no avoiding dribbling of the liquid. The most effective method being to remove the lid altogether and to poor very slowly, be even that results in spills.

I love this pitcher! I use it primarly for iced coffee because I can pour hot coffee into it, let it cool, and then pop in the fridge. It's also dishwasher safe! The only thing I don't love about it is that the spout can be a little messy if you pour too fast, especially when it's full. But overall I'm happy with the purchase.

Terrible! The lid is cheap, flimsy, and useless. You cant close the lid, shake it or pour liquid from it without it spilling everywhere. Also, the glass is much thinner than how these were manufactured many years ago. I’m going to see if I still have the packaging and return it to my local Target.

Really cheap lid (they give you 2) that doesn’t seal if you shake the pitcher. My immersion blender just fit into a different Italian one, this Chinese knockoff is a hair smaller and doesn’t fit.

The pitcher itself is pretty small. The 2 lids it came with are cheap and flimsy. The opening to the pitcher is small. You cannot fit your hand in it. You will need a bottle brush to clean the inside of the pitcher.
