Doesn’t open as much as it shows. Looks kind of cheap in person. Hard to return for sure!!! So upset I purchased online since there are none in any of the stores near us. The picture is as much as it will open!!! Not sure if I was sent a damaged item or what but there is no way I can get this packaged back and into an ups store.

I absolutely love this bench. It’s a perfect fit at the end of our bed. I like that it’s deeper for blankets too. It feels solid and sturdy. I did paint the feet though to match our bed frame. Everyone seems to love it too!

I tried contacting customer service and they would not allow me to show them images. The legs on this bench will not stay on. Do you remove the plastic caps and screw in? If so, then the drill holes are defective as there is nothing for it to grab on to. You cannot sit on this - we tried to fix but believe it may be defective and now its outside my return window. Great. We currently have the bench just sitting on the floor with no legs.

Awesome. I've looked at so many storage ottomans in the $150-300 range in stores and even purchased one from another site last year. The majority of them felt cheaply made and were wildly uncomfortable (rock hard) to sit on.
The Picket House ottoman feels plush and is incredibly sturdy. Assembling it took 2 minutes- just had to screw in the legs, which are very secure once tightened. It is also deeper and much more spacious inside than most of the ottomans I had been considering online. When storing all of our linens, it easily fits 2 complete sets of queen sheets, 6 spare pillow cases, 3 XL bath sheets, 5 standard/large bath towels, and 10 hand towels/face cloths. The fabric has the look of velvet without the price tag. Easily looks like it could have cost $500. Could not recommend this more highly.
