I received one with no instructions and a missing "rechargeable battery". it took me about 3 hours fiddling with this thing to get out to work only to find out that it was broken/defective because it didn't work again after that. it's so time consuming to unscrew and open all the compartments and it's really cheaply made. the tail fell off when i took it out of the box and the screws rusted after first use which is surprisingly because I tried it in non-chlorinated water! On top of that, it's very tiny compared to the catalog photo. we were all hugely disappointed!!!

My entire order is going in the trash. I spent a lot of money and had high hopes and excited kids. They (the alligator and the crocodile head) are very cheaply made and died/ fell apart and screws rusted out just after one use. The plastic tail immediately fell off and you have to be careful not to force it back together or it's done. Strangely, there are no instructions enclosed. I didn't know how to sync the remote. Also, it's a lot smaller than I expected!!! You have to unscrew the entire thing to replace the batteries. The screws are so tiny and it took me about 30 minutes to get it all disassembled. I like the crocodile head better than the alligator because it looked more realistic. Note: It will take a while to charge as well and only works in the water but don't allow water to get inside the compartment. The mouth does not open. The customer service rep. I spoke with said I should use rechargeable batteries. There was supposed to be one included but it was missing. Please see pictures. I asked Collections to please do not purchase from this vendor again! I paid like $80 for the two, even though on sale. I'm really embarrassed because I purchased one set as a gift and gave it without trying it out myself and i'm so frustrated so imagine they would be too.
