I've used this for years and it worked great but for the past few tubes, almost nothing happens. I use it more often, leave on longer, and the grey almost never covers, while my black does seem to get darker, which I don't really want. Giving it one more month then moving on to another product.

I had high hopes for this product after reading its description. Unfortunately, I didn’t read the reviews before purchasing. I’ve been using this product daily in an effort to reduce a large patch of gray on my chin. This product darkened my light brown beard considerably, but it’s done little to minimize the gray.

I have been using for 4 + years . Like everyone else has stated the new formula is rubbish and I won’t be using any of your products again. Why don’t you just listen to your customers feedback and revert to the old formula. And don’t say nothing has changed as your customers are not all stupid. dark spots on tube opening

The product seems to work ok on my beard but you have to be careful about black spots at opening of product tube. It gets in product and when applied it puts a black spot on moustache or beard that has to be cut out as it looks bad. The tube needs to be changed to a more narrow opening like on a nozzle to keep air out of it.

I had a few tubes I bought a few years ago that I used and had to buy more. What happened? The new tube does nothing. How does it go from working well to not at all? I suspect they reduced the amount of active ingredient to save money and now they have a garbage product. Glad there are other options on the market. Don't waste your money.

I had being using just for men beard dye. Medium brown would have been the closest to my original beard colour. The product worked o.k. but the finish result was not always what you might be happy with. Mostly was down to my own fault for leaving the product on too long before washing out. It needed to be mixed and sometimes difficult to remove stains if it got on hands of face. So i seen this new formula Control GX beard wash, and I was impressed to see that it was all contained in 1 tube. I found the product very easy to use, and it had no reaction to my skin, I have to say that after 4 washes I'm really impressed with how this product has worked. I had been leaving it in that bit longer with each wash, so that by the 4th wash it was looking exactly how I wanted it. In fact it almost matched the colour of my original beard. It looks so natural, and leaves your beard feeling soft, fresh and fuller looking. It's an amazing product. What took you so long to develop this? I give it 10 stars.

Hi! Control GX adds cool, smoky tones to grey hair, resulting in a gradual reduction of the grey. For most, the color looks extremely natural. However, everybody’s hair is a little different and results may vary. If you experience an unsatisfactory color, we recommend that you discontinue using the product.

Used this product for 3 years - worked great. Recently, I purchased the product again and noticed a completely different substance inside the tube. It is completely worthless - does nothing. I even put a spot on the shower floor expecting a dark spot to develop, but NOTHING developed. A complete scam.

The good - I purchased the first tube several months ago while my beard was longer, and it worked great to reduce the grey and darken my red beard. I trimmed it off and kept it short for a while. I'm growing it out again and the first tube just ran out, so I went and got a second tube. The contents of the first tube were dark brown in color. I used it at least daily for 3-5 minutes and it definitely worked. The bad - The contents of the second tube are a cream color. I haven't used this tube very long, but the color is lighter than my beard, so I doubt it's going to work like the first tube. The ugly - The new formula looks like a waste of money and time. You may need to find another product.

I purchased a 3 boxes of this because I had high hopes, I wanted to be able to repeat the process at my leisure. After having died my hair with regular just for men, one week earlier, I use the shampoo and had the following results: Week 1: Slowed graying. Week 2: Noticed my fingernails were being dyed black, even though I follow the instructions. Week 3: Noticed the palms of my hands were now died black. Week 3a: The skin between my fingers and the dyed areas just below that felt like someone had sliced my hands with razor blades, my skin felt as though it were on fire, I tried lidocaine gel, cold, water, various types of lotion, eventually settling on slathering my hands with Vaseline and sleeping with cotton gloves on. I don’t recommend this product.

I used to use the just for men beard dye, but it severely made me break out with my short beard. A few years ago I switched to the beard wash and it worked fantastic. I kept it on a little longer than they recommend. I usually kept it on for 10 to 12 minutes And it would be Brown running down my neck and my beard would get dyed dark nicely. For the past year, something has changed in their formula even though they say it hasn’t. I don’t even use gloves anymore because it doesn’t dye my hands or my fingernails and definitely doesn’t do anything for my beard and I use it every single day. I wish they would change back whatever they changed , because it’s not as good as it used to be a couple years ago

I've used this beard wash for about two years now. Once I got to the shade I wanted I only have to use it every 2-3 days to maintain it. I disliked having a white beard and I kept it very short. Now I can grow my beard longer and feel good about it.
