Juvale 2 Pack Unfinished Wood Tissue Box Cover for DIY Crafts, Home Decor, 5 x 5.5 in

They’re not bad. They were exactly what I was looking for (natural wood tissue box covers). However, one box has wood that is splitting at the top. I don’t believe it to be damaged from shipping. It looks fairly obvious that it’s splitting from the open top when they made it so that’s a shame since I plan to keep it as is. Overall it could be better and cheaper due to the damage but it’s fine.

The wood is very thick and durable, both were well sanded and ready to decorate, and the bottoms of both slide open smoothly to add the tissue boxes which fit perfectly. My daughter and I had a great crafternoon hanging out, decorating our boxes. It was a really fun project with the hardest part being deciding upon what mediums to use with them as they're so versatile and we had way too many ideas... paint, staining, paper mache, decoupage, vinyl, shells, mosaic, beads, diamond painting, stickers, yarn art, and the list goes on! In the end, she decided to use acrylic to create an abstract and night sky scene with glow in the dark touches. I used acrylic and shell tiles to make a box for our guest restroom.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm glad I got these wood tissue boxes. I hate how tissue boxes look, so I was excited about these. They definitely make a tissue box look better. I left mine unpainted, because I really liked the way they already looked. I gave them four stars because they feel a little rough, just wish they were a little smoother. My tissues boxes fit nicely in them and they are easy to get them in and out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Juvale unfinished tissue boxes as part of a sampling program and just love them. They are sturdy and hold a box of tissues perfectly with a bottom lid to prevent movement. The wood does not require sanding prior to painting or glueing fabric and the decorating is endless. I used acrylic paints to create a pretty addition to my bathroom. Highly recommend.

Made the mistake of buying some from a craft store. They were horrible. None of the corners lined up, so once you slide the bottom out, you’ll have a very hard time getting it back in. I make some as gifts, including some for kids. The last thing you want is a gift that no one can enjoy because the dumb door at the bottom won’t close. The Juvale boxes are made so well that the bottom doors are virtually interchangeable. When I was working on three at once last Christmas, I forgot which bottom door went with which box, but it didn’t matter. I was able to get them to fit in any box. They require very little sanding prep as well. I wouldn’t buy any other kind, ever.

Not only GREAT quality but a great price. I do so much with these. Double pack on top of it all makes it worth it
