Kärcher K 4 Power Control Electric Pressure Washer, Max 2250 PSI, 1.5 GPM

Generally OK but not sure I like as well as the unit I bought nearly 20 years ago which finally failed. Initially had problems determining how to connect high pressure hose to unit as it was not covered by instructions. Eventually concluded that the hose was likely suppose to come pre-attached, but mine out-of-box was missing a small clip which I found listed in spare parts online. Once I ordered and got the clip, I found it was obviously a really ‘cheap’ way of connecting the hose to unit and where clip could easily be lost. Not a true quick disconnect method of using the otherwise quick disconnect hose. Very disappointing. The telescoping handle can move up and down erratically (not smoothly) and it once quickly retracted and pinched one of my fingers. I then installed screws at the base of each side of handle as stops to prevent future injury. High pressure hoses can be a bit of a chore to untangle for each use and am hoping it will get easier over time. Unit is a little quieter than my previous Karcher unit, but I am not sure it has quite as much pressure. It supposedly does has as much pressure, but I read that the flow rating in gpm is a bit less than the older unit and that may be the difference I am noticing in that it takes a little longer to clean the same area.

It doesn’t work. I am still trying to figure it out. It is spraying water everywhere from where I connect the hose.which causes it to lose water pressure and can’t spray…

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The karcher 4k power control pressure washer is a wonderful product that I'm glad I didn't skip out on I have been very impressed with it since it first arrived at my door for starters it came very well packaged in the box everything was secured into its own place leaving no room for anything to get broken or damaged during shipping at first glance I was thinking to myself that this small machine wouldn't do much or be very productive but I was very wrong it lived up to every expectation I had and more I really like that the machine isn't very heavy making it easy to move around while getting the job done this small but mighty pressure washer has 1800w water cooler motor that makes it capable of putting out 420 liters per hour with a max pressure of 130 bar I have to say I love the power control gun and it's vario power spray lance when you have the power spray lance inserted and squeeze the trigger the led indicators on the gun light up showing it's current pressure level going from soft to hard the soft setting is good for things like wood ,sandstone,the kids bikes, the outside of swimming pool, and anything that is more fragile and the hard pressure is good for things like concrete, hard stonework, any metal surfaces, the outdoor grill, and other hard tuff surfaces that have built up dirt an grime there is also a mix setting so you can use it with soap and cleaners for your deck, cars, outside of the houseand much much more you can also adjust the spray pattern and pressure buy twisting the verio power spray lance until it hits the level you want now with all that being said the only things that I didn't like was the instructions could have been a little more clear as you will need to put the wheels and handle on so there is a little bit of work to be done before you get started I would have loved to been able to just pull it from the box an plug an go but it wasn't to awful just a personal preference and the hose is stubborn from being rolled up and coiled into the box that it's a pain in the butt to get it to do what u want it to do after you play with it for a little while and get it straightened out your good to go all an all I would purchase another one if I needed it an might even buy one for the inlaws as a Christmas gift

I've used a few house hold washer and they often don't seem to have the same power consistency and have breakable pieces. This particular washer seems quite durable and worked very well for me. Used it to clean the exterior of my house right after I got it. A++

At first it seemed like there were a lot of parts, but it turned out very easy to install everything! This pressure washer works really well for washing your vehicles and carport! I love that you have the option to buy a dispenser for soaps if you want to wash something such as a rug. But beware it is not included!! We thought it was. 10/10 would recommend.

Worked great on my front desk and back patio areas. Not too heavy to pull around for me to use like some of the bigger ones. This is a power house of a small machine!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can finally ditch my gas powered pressure washer! Assembly took maybe 30 minutes while I was watching TV. Once I got started, I couldn't stop. With the adjustable wand, I was able to quickly go from washing gutters to siding, then on to sidewalks. It handled everything with ease. I amazed my parents by making their landscape timbers look like new. This thing is quiet too. The water coming out is louder than the pump.

My only suggestion for improvement is that the quick connect for the water hose needs to be a heavier duty piece because it pops off too easily.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lightweight and powerful for an electric washer that comes with a 35 foot electrical cord and 25 foot pressure hose. Easy to assemble and it has enough power to remove about everything I have tried so far and is a very low noise machine. With 1900 psi you can easily clean decks, stains on concrete driveways and outdoor furniture. The pressure-regulating Vario Power spray wand for is easy to use and great for light-duty jobs, and the Dirt Blaster spray wand for superior cleaning performance on tough-to-clean surfaces. Only wish the power cord was easier to store.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first got this out and set it up I was thinking this deserved 3 stars due to the misprint on the instruction manual and some of the plastic parts that could probably be metal and last longer. But then I used it and was impressed with how it performed against a unit I had rented a few months prior and thought it might be a 4 star situation. THEN I used it a second time and I've been won over. The parts I was concerned about are holding up just fine, the lightweight build is way easier to move around, the small size makes it fit easily in the corner of my garage. Any frustrations I had with the inital setup are long forgotten. 5 stars it is. So far I've only used this to clean my cement driveway, but I did test out the pressure-adjustable wand to make sure it would be safe to use on my nice patio furnature and my car. It is handy that it has a little gauge on the handle that shows how the wand is adjusted because it is a little touchy to get it to stay at a medium pressure. The high pressure wand, though, is something to be careful with. It really made short work of my very dirty driveway. I'm going to attach 3 pictures. One showing how compact it is for storage when not in use, one showing how well it worked on my driveway, and one showing the issue I had with the instruction manual. The image that tells you the name of each part didn't come out right so there was a little extra time spent trying to interpret what part to install in what order. A little frustrating, for sure, but after you have it set up that first time you're good to go.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice little power washer for small tasks. It has a good bit of power and is very simple to set up and turn on. All you need to do is hook up your water and plug in and it’s ready to go. No messing with gas. I really like the quick connect fittings on the nozzle and the display that tells me what my pressure is. The actual machine itself is pretty nice as it has areas to store the accessories and hose. The only downfall is there is no spool for the extension cord. There is a good bit of cord, looks to be about 40’ or so which makes this pretty versatile. The only other shortfall which made me a little dissatisfied was the amount of leaks at the hose connection. Both the quick disconnect at the machine and the threaded connection at the hose leaked pretty good. Not just drops, but sprays. I had the connections tight and the washers looked good. Other than that this works great for small jobs. I’ve already used on my truck and grill. Can’t wait to use on more things.

It took me about 20-30 min to put the power washer together, you definitely need a screwdriver. The company could update its instructions a bit, pictures quality is poor and instructions unclear. K4 Pressurewasher performance is excellent. The set comes with a spray gun and additional lances that attach easily. For the siding, I used the telescopic handle and it's so powerful that I didn't have to add any soaps or similar products. The pressure washer works perfectly and the quality is superb. Worth every penny.

Easy to move around on its wheels. Plenty of power , I easily power washed the concrete around the pool, the siding on the house and the decks. Attachments go on and off easily. On board soap dispenser is convenient. All I need for home purposes.

First, the online shopping is quick and easy. Before purchasing this product I was looking At diff pressure washers from dewalt to active even greenworks or ryobi. Finally decided with Karcher K4 and so far after 2 uses (both for car washing) I was impress with the performance of the machine. first use was with running water, second use with the suction hose and the performance of the machine did not change. Forgot to mention I live in an apartment in New York City, I’m sick and tired of the automatic carwash and detail shops not doing a good job cleaning my car. The performance of Karcher and self service carwash pressure washer is not far apart.

I had a previous karcher power sprayer. I used it hard and wore it out. I love this new sprayer. Performs well. I also like the variable pressure option.

Assembly instructions aren’t great, but fairly easy to set up and use. Has plenty of power. Soap dispenser attachment isn’t super efficient, and doesn’t create a great foam. Plastic hose adapter is also a bit weak, and will pop off unless very firmly seated. Cable/hose management is clumsy. Overall, does what it needs to do, and I would recommend as a purchase.
