Disappointing Product

Took a gamble on purchasing this since the reviews were mixed; the lower star reviews would be the most accurate, in my experience. Really cheap plastic, poor coloring, and the plastic smell was overwhelming upon opening the box. Perhaps I missed it in the product details, but what is pictured is not necessarily what is mailed. We still received 22 pieces, seven of them that weren’t pictured at all. I would not recommend ordering this breakfast set. (We are particularly disappointed with the croissant, sunny side up eggs, and bacon.)

I was disgusted by this to be honest. It smells like horrible plastic. The pieces that are on the website were not in the box, and there was a greasy substance on all of the food. It cannot be safe for kids.

Awful oily substance

I purchased this for my son for Christmas. Upon opening them, all three containers were wet inside. I quickly inspected them to learn it was a foul smelling oily substance all over the pieces of play food. I had to hand wash each piece and sanitize before my son could play with this. This was by far one of my scariest moments as a parent. Who knows what that substance was and for the cost I expected way higher standards. These items are being made for children and should be safe. I tried to take pictures at multiple angles and different lighting and it was just so glossy you couldn't make out the oily substance.

To be honest I purchased this for my granddaughter for Christmas and have not taken it out of the container yet. What I can see so far is it's exactly what is described and looks like a lot of fun.

I really thought this looked like a great breakfast set, but the quality is very poor! The eggs were discolored & coming apart at the seam on the back, the cantaloupe slice was very discolored, and a few other pieces were of very poor quality. We did like the waffles& bacon, but definitely not worth keeping for the price when only a few items were worth having.

The food items in this set are made of some sort of cheap plastic. They smell awful even after hand washing. The product is made in China and I am concerned that the plastics have toxic chemicals that are leeching out. I do not believe this is a safe product especially if your child decides to put the food item in their mouth. Target should not sell this product.

This is a very fun set for siblings aged one and three. They are imitating how their parents serve them meals. The pieces are all good quality, no sharp edges on the plastic pieces.

This set is so cute! Perfect for my kiddos to play with their kitchen set. It also came with a clear plastic container (lid included) to hold all the items in which is nice for organizational purposes!

Very high quality and able to withstand being sanitized in the dishwasher. Very lifelike. Slight issue with some pieces being too large for child-sized plates and bowls. Foods are familiar to most children. Good variety of different types of food.

My students love this play food. This play food is durable and high quality. It looks new even after tons of little hands have played with it. My students can easily identify what the food is due to the realistic look of the pieces. I like the sturdy storage containers for easy pick up.

My classroom was in desperate need of new play food and these were just the right thing to order. My kids love finding all the new types of food. Just the other day I heard one of them exclaim, "french fries! I love them!"
