Q: How tall are the animals, in general?

A: There are several animals that are 5" tall, while others are smaller. The longest one is almost 5" long.

My preschool students love these animals. Most of these animals are animals they see or hear about everyday in the Northwoods. They are detailed and have provided many opportunities for introduction of new vocabulary words. I love that we can start talking about animals students are familiar with and then use the knowledge they gain from these animals to apply it when we start learning about animals in other parts of the world. It has been 3 weeks and my students still get excited everyday and play with them. They are also sturdy and can with stand little hands "walking" them around the room!

I love the size and assortment with this set. It is very realistic looking and the kids love playing with it.
