[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have this in our gross motor space. The children love to use it both as a boat and as stairs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very enjoyable for toddlers and preschoolers. It can also be used as practicing going up and down steps when turned over.

As a former director of an infant-toddler center serving children 6 weeks to 3 years old, one of the best purchases ever made was the Rocky Boat. My toddlers spent countless hours rocking back and forth in the boat. This boat allowed us to teach our toddlers how to sit when the boat was moving; how to let someone know when you wanted to get out with words. Our word was "Stop!" and as soon as the child said it, we stopped the boat and reminded the other child that (child's name) let us know he/she was ready to get out. Then the boat could be turned over to create steps which lead to more countless hours of fun for our children. We were able to use the Rocky Boat inside and outside because it was lightweight, but extremely durable. In addition to improving gross motor skills, this Rocky Boat allowed us to teach sharing and turn taking skills with toddlers that do not like to share or take turns; but because they loved playing on the Rocky Boat, they did. I worked for 9.5 years at this infant-toddler center and the Rocky Boat was still in great shape. This is a timeless toy that all children should have access too.

It came with no instructions but was easy to assemble, I even had the children help. They love to rock and climb on it. It has not tipped over yet! Even my 12 year old was on it and it was very sturdy.
