[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try this cereal, but honestly, it was a bit of a letdown. Despite the name, there were hardly any "clusters”, it was mostly just regular cereal pieces, which made it feel a little misleading. The cocoa flavor was decent, but the amount of added sugar was way more than I expected from a brand like Kashi. Sweeter than I was hoping for. One interesting thing I did notice, though, was the amount of iron…it’s actually pretty high, which is kind of cool if you're watching your nutrient intake. Still, the sugar content and lack of actual clusters make it hard to justify buying again.

They have a good amount of iron and contain soluble and insoluble fiber. It'd be nice if it was fortified with additional vitamins and minerals or if it had a little more protein, but it has 5g/cup and it is vegan, so can't complain.

We are all for healthier eating, especially when you aren't sacrificing on yumminess. This cereal delivers on both accounts. The sweetness of the vanilla flakes and cocoa clusters is very yummy indeed. Also, they are naturally flavored so you don't have to worry about consuming crazy artificial ingredients. I've enjoyed these as a morning cereal (with milk) and as a dry snack. They are enjoyable either way as I very much enjoy the crunch (they do soften in milk) and sweetness.

I had a lot of cocoa clusters in mine unlike other reviews but it’s still not great. Very minimal chocolate flavor mixed random hints a cardboard flavor. I’m normally disappointed with Kashi cereals but was excited to see a new flavor with higher than average protein. I should have known better. Probably will only eat one bowl and definitely wouldn’t buy again.

There’s almost no cocoa clusters at all. The box is 95% flakes and the clusters seem to have been added by accident. They should rename it “vanilla flakes with cocoa whispers”. My son likes it, though.
