Sheer but shiny. They let in a lot of light but don’t provide a lot of privacy (like some sheers do) because of their shiny, gauzy fabric. The sheen of the fabric gives them a chintzy appearance inside the house as well as from outside. Not quite the look I’m going for in my front window. They’re well constructed, and a good price though. I’ll use them in a spare bedroom.
