THIS LIGHT FIXTURE WAS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO ASSEMBLE AND MOUNT. INSTRUCTIONS WERE TERRIBLE. I ENDED UP HAVING MY FRIEND (A VERY HANDS ON MAN) ASSIST ME & EVEN HE HAD DIFFICULTY.

The fixture looks great. Very pleased with it. While installing, the glass slipped through my hands and broke. Ebby in Customer Service said she would look into what my options were and would follow-up with me. She did what she said she would do and came up with a solution. I didn't have to call or ask twice.

My husband and I thought this light would be easy to install, but it took 2 people with the patience of Job - 2 hours! First of all there was a missing step between #4 and #5 with the decorative wood trim. The wooden trim goes up with the ceiling pan when connecting the ground wires. According to the illustration the box screws go into the second hole in the mounting strip and the fixture screw in the first hole of the mounting strip. Wrong! If that is done then your fixture screws are 4" apart and the holes that they go through are 3" apart. We spent a lot of time then trying to remove one of the fixture screws and placing it into the slot in the mounting strip which led to more problems of trying to align it to the hole with it 3" apart from the other fixed fixture screw and then getting it to tighten up. We finally were successful*#$! Please relay the fact that better directions and illustrations are needed. Otherwise we LOVE it!

Ordered this light for my foyer next to my dining room which I have the matching chandelier . Looks great and much better than the cheap $10.00 fixture that was up there.
