As soon as they hear me open the bag every morning, they start singing and fluttering around the food dish. With this food, I've noticed that they eat all of it instead of picking out the pieces they like the most.

They have always been in love with her bird, Polly, but never understood why they couldn’t feed her their crackers. So the last time we went over there to visit for the weekend, we brought over this bag of parakeet bird food. I told the kids they could sprinkle a little in their tiny hands and see if Polly would eat from their palms. Wow! Polly immediately went to my oldest daughter’s hand and started eating away! Then every child wanted a turn. My mom, nana, said she’s never seen her do that with anyone else! My kids were so excited! My kids were convinced it was the special food they brought Polly…. And maybe it was! My mom said she will start buying this kind from now on. and for Christmas, we will be sure to buy a bag to put in Pollys stocking! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My parakeets enjoyed this food. I love the nice fruity smell to it. When I received my seed it was a little upset because some of the seed leaked out into the box and got all over my floors when I opened the box. The seeds have a nice mix of different seeds. My birds eat every seed compared to their last bird food where they would sort through and throw what they didn't like to the bottom of their cage. I recommend this seed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I feel like my previous food had bigger variety of the seeds. My parakeets dont seem to enjoy this much. i would suggest to mix it with something additional to make it more appealing. Probably good enough for base food.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am impress with this bird seed because my bird seem to be happier and healthier. One of them was going through a molting stage and acting a bit tired. After switching to this seed, after a few days she seemed to pep up and her feathers grew in faster than expected. They both are picky eaters meaning they pick around the seeds they don't like, but with this seed, there is less wasted because they eat most all of the types or seed in this formula. Highly recommended! I will be sticking to this brand from now on.
