Has pieces of strawberries, blueberries and cranberries. The flakes are coated with cocoa powder too. Had a sweet and tart taste in each bite which I enjoyed.

Special K is one of my favorite cereal lines, so I was excited to try this new flavor. I found it to have a good berry to flake ratio, and I love how big and crunchy the flakes are. When it comes to the flavor, I wasn't too impressed. I'm not sure why, but I did find the chocolate coating on the flakes made the cereal a bit too sweet. A chocolate lover will probably enjoy this as it does have the taste, and noticeable scent of chocolate, but as for me, I'd pass on it.

My kids like their cereal dry, so we tried it without milk too, and they enjoyed the crunchy flakes and soft, dried strawberries.

The berries and dark chocolate give a balanced blend of tartness and slight bittersweet richness. I like that it has antioxidant-rich superfood ingredients (yay for berries and dark chocolates!) which makes me feel like I’m making a healthier choice in the morning. That said, the ingredients list could be better. There are 13 grams of sugar per serving, which is a bit much for a cereal that’s marketed as a health-forward option. Also, it’s a little high in sodium for my liking. I just wish they’d clean it up a bit more. All in all, it’s a delicious cereal that’s easy to enjoy, but it could definitely use an upgrade when it comes to the nutrition label.

The chocolate was like a dusting- there weren't any chocolate chunks- but that left a bitter background taste to the cereal. I don't want pure sugar in the morning but I'd rather bland than sour/bitter.
