I've been using this kelp to add additional iodine to my daily multivitamin/mineral supplement. It tastes nasty like dead fish, so I add a tad of water and drink it quickly then chase it. I don't know if it's helping me, but I like the convenience of using however much I want for the dose/amt I desire. Great price, but tastes gross.

If you don't need an exact dose each day, but prefer to sprinkle it on your food, this is a good way to add iodine to the diet. I put it in an old clean spice jar with the sprinkle top, and use it each day on something savory. The taste is not overly intrusive at all. I've used celtic sea salt and himalayan pink salt for years and found I was needing iodine. This works fine. It is a very fine powder and hasn't clumped up on me at all. Very easy to sprinkle.

Kelp is much better for health than salt - kelp has an array of minerals and other substances in the same proportion as sea water - and body fluids. I use kelp for cooking instead of salt whenever possible. And I sprinkle kelp on salads, vegetables, etc. Tastes great and very healthy.

I take kelp supplement to help supply iodine. This kelp powder smells fresh and I can hardly taste it when I put it in my smoothies. It comes with a tiny serving scoop for dosage measurement. 2 level scoops will supply 270 mcg of iodine & 200mg of kelp, and there are 1135 servings at that dose. I see excellent value!
