Q: What is the difference between the exclusive black 180g album and target’s exclusive?

A: the 180g is heavier with it being a more detailed vinyl meaning it sounds better as compared to this just being a different color to an average one.

submitted byTeekay - 3 months agoA: 180 gram is heavier than a normal vinyl record. Sound quality doesn’t really change, but heavier is more durable so the record will physically last longer than regular vinyl. It won’t warp or bounce around as it spins on your turntable. If you’re going to play this album a lot, get 180 gram. If your collecting just to look at it, it doesn’t matter

This album came in a large box that was smashed in multiple places, the tape barely hanging on. Inside was a piece of bubble material that surprisingly worked slightly. Album cover was dented in 2 places and on a corner. Albums should come in a flat, thick media mailer just like Amazon does.

Kendrick is always putting out incredible songs with amazing beats and stories that make up the lyrics. Another bangin album in the books. 🙌🏻 the only bummer was the case was cracked when it was delivered. The disc itself was fine and it has nothing to do with the product itself.

Kendrick Lamar’s album is great! And I really like this grey vinyl, it’s a cool color. I don’t have any that are this opaque grey tint. I also like that it’s a car wheel 🛞 image. And the vinyl itself sounds great!

When I heard that it was gonna release today 02/07/25 I ran to my target and copped a cd 🙏 Only downside is that I thought there was gonna be a lyric book but there sadly wasn't, but other than that it's a good album :,)
