Q: can you vacuum this rug or will the fibers lift? How do you clean the rug?

A: Here are the cleaning instructions: Vacuum regularly with suction only--a beater brush is not recommended. Blot liquid spills immediately by pressing a clean, undyed cloth into the spill to absorb as much as possible. You may spot-clean using a solution of mild dish soap and water but test the solution in a small, inconspicuous area of the rug to be sure there is no discoloration. If you get a solid (e.g. chocolate bar, melted cheese) on the rug use the dull edge of a knife to scrape the solid up as much of possible and then follow instructions above for liquid spills.

Q: In one picture shown, the rug appears a very dark gray while the other picture, the rug appears as a feathered, marble, greige color. Can you tell me what picture this rug most resembles? Thanks!

A: Great question! Natural fiber rugs take dye differently from one production to the next so each production lot will be somewhat unique. However, the recent productions have been a darker gray.

Love this braided rug in our lake house living room! I gave 4 stars because it is not a true ivory as described but more golden, which is fine since we have greys and creams, but I would have preferred more of an ivory color. It does have a nice warm yet bright tone and hopefully this gold color shows less foot traffic in the long run!

Just put this rug down and it looks fantastic. But I will say you can tell your getting what you paid for, I don’t expect it will last very long. I wanted to try something different and if I had known I would have loved this style so much in the space, I probably would have spent a little more and gotten a better quality.

I've had this rug down for just over a week. I think it's beautiful and the color is accurate to what was shown in the photo. It is soft to walk on. I do see a few pulls coming through, but the instructions said that is normal and to be expected and they give instructions on how to carefully clip them. It IS a hand-braided rug after all. I'm happy with this purchase and am, in fact, considering buying a second one (different size) for another area of the home so that they match.

I got the gray, I love the color it's a charcoal gray which is just what I wanted. The rug looks great in my dining room, my only concern is some of the fibers are sticking up in random places,I've only had it a week so we'll have to wait and see if it holds up.
