Kichler Lighting Ali 8 - Light Chandelier in Brushed Natural Brass

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This chandelier is perfect for our kitchen; classic but modern design. The brass is subtle and warm without being too yellow or shiny. The shades soften the light, but it could be used without the shades for a slightly different look. The size/width feel appropriate over our large table (seats 6), but the more delicate spokes and finials keep it from looking too heavy or bulky.

The installation was fairly simple, but I did need a second set of hands because of the size. This chandelier is now the show piece of our dining room.

It just makes my entire living room seem more high class simply because of this light. It is large, but it doesn’t overpower the room. It commands attention just by its presence. Everyone comments how nice it looks in my home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This chandelier really does look pretty nice once you're able to get it wired and hung. The black metal and light gray sconces look very contemporary and streamlined. The shades for each sconce are fabric, which I worry will collect dust and be difficult to clean. I'd rather they be made from a different material. But overall the look is pretty. The installation and wiring, however, was pretty trying. All steps were easy to understand and similar to other fixtures, but it was such an awkward and uncomfortable installation. The fixture itself is very large and the arm that hangs is extremely long. But, you can't get your arms through the openings to be able to wire and hang. Nothing was difficult to understand, but it was just physically very difficult to hang this. Very tiring. Even with a second person holding, it's just really difficult to get to the top of the bar that hangs.

Easiest light I have put together from Kichler. It came very well packaged as well. We attached a cord to it and plugged it in due to the fact that we don't have wiring set up in our dining room. We used 60W B10 bulbs for this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Kichler Ali 1 tier Chandelier in Nickel is beautiful. This light fixture adds an ambience to our room. The light is perfect and it looks great. It was very easy to install and add bulbs. It took roughly an hour to complete installation alone. The brushed nickel adds a sense of antique to the room that blends well with other decor. It is quite the conversation starter and has been admired by all of my family. High quality chandelier that will last for years to come.

I absolutely love how this light has really brightened my kitchen up with the 8 different lights and made it look so much more modern. I also love the black color as it matches my kitchen so well. The size at 38.5 is perfect and looks so good over my round table. This is by far one of the best chandeliers I have found not only for the style but for the brightness. This product is made with high quality materials and will amplify the look of your home. The chandelier was meticulously packaged and the instructions were easy to follow. You do need to know about electrical installation otherwise it’s highly recommended that you have a professional install the chandelier. If you’re looking for that high end look, then this is the chandelier for you. A bit of farmhouse and a bit modernistic, with clean lines and sophistication. I highly recommend this light fixture.

Included a new mounting bracket and enough extension rod for whatever length needed. Easy to put together, wire, and hang. The black metal appears to be of good quality and the shades are bright white. The shades sit nicely on each mount. This particular Kichler light fits our kitchen decor perfectly and visitors comment on how beautiful it is.

The materials are high quality both in look and feel. The design is interesting without being distracting. The style is modern but still classic. I think it would be perfect with several different decor styles. The shades give it a dressy finish. I love the light from this fixture. It gives plentiful light throughout the room but it is a warm, diffuse glow rather than direct. Installation was straightforward and typical with included instructions and materials. There is plenty of wire and several adapters to make height adjustments. At first I didn't like that the shades sat rather loosely on the fixture but it does make it easier to level them and they do stay in place well after being adjusted. I am very happy with this light because of its style, the high quality of its materials and construction, and the beautiful light that it gives off. I do recommend it.

The silver accents make it a modern look well the linen lampshades give it more of a country look. This chandelier adds a bit of class to our dining room. It holds eight bulbs that give a soft but bright light. Perfect for breakfast lunch for a romantic dinner. The shades are made high quality and look beautiful. Easy to install and adjustable heights make it easy for a DIY. Very happy with the look!
