Q: The box says that it’s intended for ages 4 and up but on the specs and some answers here say it’s for ages 3+. My little one will be 3 in my 4 months.. is this safe to give her?

A: Thank you for your interest in Garden of Life’s products. We're very sorry, but our Dr. Formulated Kids probiotics is labeled as made without Peanuts and Tree Nuts. The product is however made in a facility that also processes other products with Peanuts and Tree Nuts. We do not test the final product for the presence of nuts; therefore, we are unable to give you an absolute guarantee that the product is nut Free. Unless we test the finished product for the presence of nuts, we do not label or claim them to be free of nuts and therefore, they cannot be relied on to be nut free. At Garden of Life, we source only premium ingredients and work with manufacturers who have the highest quality standards and follow cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) set by the FDA. Each allergen is tagged and segregated for utilization and storage. Our GMP process requires cleaning in between runs to prevent cross contamination. Allergen testing is performed after each cleaning to be sure that the cleaning procedure is validated and that there are no allergen traces before the next production run. There is an allergen program in place and the cleaning methods and equipment are verified with allergen swabbing.

I love this brand. I currently take the adult multivitamin and used the prenatal vitamins during both my pregnancies. So when my toddler was still consistently having constipation issues at 4 YO, we were recommended Miralax by her pediatrician and after researching the effects of Miralax decided to give that a hard pass and try this instead. It has worked perfectly. She rarely if ever has any issues going now and she doesn’t mind the taste either. I would say this is a Godsend and would highly recommend it to anyone. And in case you are wondering yes we were limiting sugar and processed foods in her diet. Minimal dairy, lots of water and organic foods. Ingredients in the food/products I give my children are important. While it may seem expensive, it’s well worth the peace of mind in every respect.

My 6 year old refuses them, and I tried it as well, super bitter taste. Made as a dime sized tablet, so they need to really chew it for a while. Wish it was more kid friendly as a gummy, because the ingredients are great!
