Think if the movie Buddy the Elf and when he lives at the North Pole scene and all the furniture is extremely small for him. This is what this bookshelf looks like in child’s room and it takes hours to put together.

Strong and sturdy, holds quite a bit of books. The packaging was great. Instructions were a little confusing at first but once you realize what’s going on it’s super easy. Labels are small and on the ends, which is nice for not having to deal with getting ugly stickers off the final product. The hardest part is putting the sides on at the end and lining up all the holes.

I am super happy with this bookshelf. After reading some of the reviews I was a little iffy about buying it, but I’m glad I did. The only steps I needed help with during the assembly process were the last two. I found the directions easy to read. not an incentivized review just very happy with my purchase.

The dimensions of the cubbies at the bottom are 10.5"W 10.5"D 10"H. They do not fit the standard 11 inch collapsable bins. Bins to fit this bookrack are difficult to find. Otherwise, great for books.

I am 36 weeks pregnant and purchased this for our nursery, and my poor husband really struggled (but succeeded) in getting this together. First of all, the included tools will not help you, this is the type of build where you need to pull out your real toolset/drill/etc. The instructions weren't totally clear, so there were several moments where he installed something the wrong way and had to uninstall and redo it. They also expect you to attach the long side pannels all at once, while lining them up with about 15 different pegs and screws, which was a bit bizzare. However- now that it's put together, it is so cute and I know our son will enjoy choosing his own books from the shelves for years to come!

I really wanted to love this—it seemed like it would be perfect for the space. But it is sooooo complicated to put together. Several times I had to take things apart and reassemble because the directions were not clear. By the time I got to the cam bolts, I gave up. Because if you insert those wrong, there is not taking it apart to try again (the holes we much smaller than the bolts, so you’d better be sure what’s going where before you force pieces together. If this came pre assembled, I would pay more for it. Sadly, I’m returning it.
