My Daughter is 6 in First Grade and she is a little thing. At times she has no choice but to carry he backpack and this backpack is really heavy! It wheels fine and works fine.. a bit on the small side but just enough room for my First Grader. Just wish it was lighter. Had to buy another backpack.
