Awful smell! Going to see if we can get a refund. These can’t be safe for children to play with due to the horrible chemical smell!

Ours did not smell like others have reported. Ages 1-14 enjoyed on our beach trip. They are pretty cool since they light up and are squishy. The only downside is after a summer of chlorine and sunshine the faces are almost gone and the outside is tacky feeling. They are fine when wet

I purchased these during a summer promotion. They are made of a thicker rubber that has lasted kids pulling on the tentacles. They light up inside and sink daily quickly to the bottom of the pool. Would highly recommend, all the kids have really enjoyed these!

The outer coating dissolved and got sticky. They were cool the first use but the enjoyment quickly faded when you couldn’t play with them anymore and they left sticky residue everywhere.

So the little ones loves the feel and durability of them but- the lights- can only be seen in complete darkness - and are totally useless in the pool in the daytime- when the little ones are playing.
