A: No, there really isn't any crinkly sound. These are very soft, and they don't make you hot when you sleep. It's the best waterproof cover that I've found.

I love that this is such a great price for a worthwhile product! I was worried it would be too big for my child’s mattress (she has an 8” instead of a 12”) but it still fits nice and snug. It is indeed waterproof! Has protected the mattress from leaking diapers, drink spills, and even vomit. Holds up well in the wash, I think we have already washed it 10 or so times at least, and it looks and feels brand new still. Be warned it does feel soaking wet coming out of the washer, but it always dries just fine. I already purchased a second one to use when the other is off/being washed. My ONLY critique is that it very much feels and sounds like a rubber sheet. It is one, but its covered in fabric at least to make it more comfortable. Its not horribly loud or uncomfortable, but you can tell, if that makes sense. Fine for a child’s bed. My child normally gets hot sleeping, and this does not seem to cause that or make it worse, its still breathable enough. I would (and have) buy again!

I was very shocked to find out from the packaging that this mattress protector has PVC backing. This is not listed in the description, and I'm very surprised that it can be considered OEKO tex certified when it uses PVC. I will be returning it.

This mattress protector is a great option for our little ones. We were having a hard time finding one that was actually water proof. This one is clearly water proof has a thicker plastic back which we are hopeful will protect the mattress. Our only complaint is because the thick plastic it does run hot. It retains all your heat so I don’t recommend adding thick sheets like flannel in the winter. They made the bed unbearable

** PVC lining = BPAs! ** This mattress cover should be removed from stores. This should be illegal to sell. I opened it and it immediately smelled like chemicals. I look at the tag and could not believe its made with PVC.
