Additionally, each manufacturer has implemented a written sanitation program that ensures cleanliness of the food processing environment, equipment, and tools. The programs include sanitation schedules, methods, and frequencies, as well as specific instructions to clean equipment. The manufacturing locations also verify the effectiveness of their sanitation practices at a prescribed frequency. The advisory allergen statement includes milk as a precaution as the production facility produces milk based products on shared equipment.
