I've had several nights of waking up with back pain from this mattress, and once again, it's 5 a.m., and I haven't slept at all. I want to warn everyone that this mattress offers no support whatsoever. Within less than a year, it has sagged and won't return to its original shape. Out of all the mattresses I've slept on, this is the only one that has caused such severe back and waist pain that I had to see a doctor. It's truly terrible.
We have two and both are great!

We bought a queen for our guest bedroom a year ago, and then bought the same one in twin for our toddler. So far, all our guests have loved the mattress (which is uncommon because people have different preferences on softness and firmness), but everybody likes it! We have slept on it and we have slept on our toddler's one and we like them, especially because it is reasonably priced. The top part is soft enough to feel comfy but not too soft that it sinks in when you're lying down. It does a bit if you're just sitting on it. It is firm enough that our backs don't hurt when we sleep the whole night in them. As of how long they would last, we are not sure because we haven't had them that long and they don't get everyday use. But for the price, we were willing to take the risk and they have not disappointed!! in terms of chemical smells, we are very very sensitive to them, and we have not sensed any nor have our guests; we did leave both mattresses to air (and decompress) for three days in our basement before we started using them though.

SO , out of the box this seems to be the correct mattress. IT of course did not inflate to 12", but its only been 24 hours, but it inflated to 10" only. Aside from that, it's very attractive and has an extremely soft cover. Unfortunately, even though this website advertises this mattress as having a "Plush Feel", that is 100% false. I don't need a bed that is as firm as a brick, nor do I want a bed that I will sink into and get stuck in , hence the hybrid needs. This bed is unbelievably firm. I am so upset. I woke up this am extremely sore and tossed and turned all night. I had a couple people lay on it and they were blown away with how hard this bed is. SO if you want an extremely firm bed, go for it, but be warned it is not plush or medium at all, it's all the way on the firm side.

This is the best mattress I've purchased. It doesn't get hot and sweaty like other foam topped mattresses. It's extremely comfortable for side sleeping.

It was great, nice balance of deep firm support and soft conforming and cooling top. After about a year and a quarter, the sag got to a point where it contributed to my lower back pain. Im not a super heavy guy, only moderately overweight. I wish the industry was more transparent on life expectancy so buyers could make more informed decisions and we'd all be happier.

I bought this bad for my son, who was almost 4, and I purchased a new Sealy. Recently I discovered mine is too soft so I switched ours because this Zinus has more foam and it’s thicker. I wish I bought two This is s great mattress for the price. Seriously it’s nice I love it

The bed itself is ok, a bit harder than I thought it would be in the beginning but it is starting to ease up a little. However; it never did fully expand and is quite annoying that everything falls between the bed and the headboard. I've had to also purchase a gap filler just to keep my pillows on the bed so that's a cost you will have to pay also.

Purchased a queen mattress in March 2018 and so I decided to purchase another mattress in King size. I’m so miserable sleeping on king bed since I purchased back in November/December 2022. Hips and shoulders hurt. I’m guessing the mattress has changed since 2018. So upsetting because I so liked my queen mattress so much I purchased a second mattress for spare room.

Only time will tell if it's a 5 star. At the present, we are quite happy with it and would recommend it. After sleeping on a 2XFirm for years it took a little time to adjust to the soft feel on top. But it is just right in overall firmness.
