Mellow's KERA is a simple and modern design made with a unique combination of metal and fabric. The extra thick and sturdy metal frame provides durable support. The traditional upholstered headboard is lowered in height and angled to create a backboard for the perfect leaning position. The backboard is filled with high density foam for comfort and support. This platform bed is available in two simple yet refined colors. We've also left 11 inches of clearance under the bed for convenient storage. The setup was pretty straightforward and easy. The headboard is nice and soft to lean on. However, can get a bit annoying when sleeping if you do not have bigger pillows to block the hole. Otherwise, it's a great durable bed frame!

I assembled it by myself, and it comes with all the necessary tools and pretty easy to put together, even with one person. The headboard is a bit more of a greener color than I would've liked, but I actually have a thin blanket draped over it and like the way it looks. It's high enough that I can fit storage baskets and suitcases underneath which is a huge plus. I tried it with a mattress and box spring originally which was definitely too tall, but it's a great height with just a mattress.

It was easy to follow directions and set up... the headboard did take a bit to put on. However there is a weird faint smell coming from the headboard...have to let it air out some. Over-all this is a pretty good strong bed. Definitely worth checking out.

Truly a bang for your buck bed frame! I put the whole thing together on my own (and I'm VERY petite) in just an hour or two with no extra tools. The color and angle of the backboard rest are perfect for days when I use my bed to lounge around. Much better quality, value, and design than other bed frames I've had - especially from Ikea.
