The King modification plate is designed to attach Queen bed frames to King headboards or King bed frames to Queen headboards. This modification plate is perfect for special projects or unique headboard sizes. Steel construction creates a heavy-duty connection. The set includes two modification plates, and to attach both a headboard and a footboard you'll need two sets. When installing, be sure to orient the plates so no excess hangs off the edge of the headboard or in a way that can cause a hazard in your bedroom.

After buying a frame and then a headboard I found that they didn’t line up with the mounting holes on each. These adapter plates allowed me to make the headboard work with my frame.
