Valet came timely, well-packaged and no damage to the parts. Husband put it together w/o much problem including the drawer. It isn’t very deep but seems to pull in/out w/o sticking—can always add some candle wax if it does. The tray across the top is not that wide but holds all the pocket paraphernalia my husband carries. Some valets offered charging ports but my husband prefers to keep his phone at bedside and using it means placing by an outlet. Our bedroom furniture is white/coastal and debated ordering a white valet but those are MDF and seem prone to breaking. So went with a lighter solid wood, more contemporary than traditional design. The stain is uniform (think the wood is something light weight but better than MDF). and the brass touches add warmth vs chrome on other styles. We have LVP flooring (level); being on carpet MIGHT make this valet more unsteady but not problem for us. Very pleased right now but early days. Hope it gives good service.
