The flour doesn’t stick to it, so the dough does. Plus it’s extremely heavy. Better using it as a weight than a rolling pin. I’m going back to my wooden one.

This is perfect if you like crafting. Works great for pressing. Is genius for rolling out Sculpey polymer clay. Using this saves me a lot of time due to the width and heavy weight. The non stick coating is great!
A gamechanger

I absolutely love this rolling pin. I would 100% recommend this one it’s lightly weighted so it helps when rolling out your dough or whoever you are working with really. If you are deciding between this and a wooden on pay the extra bit you won’t regret it !
Solid weight, non stick, recommend!!!

Going from an old wooden pin to this one I wasn’t sure how I’d like it, but wanted to give it a try. I really like this rolling pin for several reasons. The weight of it is great when rolling out dough, I don’t need to push down so hard. I’ve had no issues with dough sticking to it, but I also put a little flour on it before using. LOVE that I can hold onto the handles in one position and the pin rolls, no major wrist action! It’s easy to wipe clean & know it won’t crack. Overall I’m very happy with this rolling pin!

I will agree with everyone else, the dough does frequently stick to the roller and you have to peel it off. It's annoying. Other than that, it's rather weighty and handles nicely.

I am glad that I ran across these reviews. I was just searching for a more traditional rolling pin since I purchased this pin last year for my pandemic baking frenzy and I could never get the flour to stick well. So I always end up with a pin with partial dough on it. It's good to know that there was something defective about mine but others had a good experience. I like the pin because of it's weight now I think I will go back to the traditional rolling pin
Must have !

I’ve had my pin for a year+ now and I love it! Definitely far easier to use and clean than any wood pin. I haven’t really had an issue with flour not sticking like many others have. I roll the pin on a floured surface or roll something over parchment paper. The only thing I don’t use it on, is fondant.
