Summary of reviews
The cookie scoop has received overwhelmingly negative feedback from guests, with many reporting that it broke after just one or two uses. While some guests appreciated its initial performance and ease of cleaning, the majority experienced issues with the mechanism getting stuck or failing to release the dough. This has led to disappointment, especially given the brand's reputation. Guests suggest looking for more reliable alternatives for cookie scooping needs.

This is the worst cookie scoop ever. If I still had the recipe I would return it but it's been sitting in my drawer waiting for use. It doesn't scoop, dormant release and the dough sticks inside so you only get partial scoops. Awful.
Disappointed!!!!

I have the same issues others note here. The part the moves gets of track and doesn't work. At first it was after every so many scoops, now every scoop. Save your money and get a different brand.

It broke the very first time that I used it. My husband fixed it and it broke again. It’s pinched more times that I count- pinching skin seems to be the only thing it is good at.
Not worth it.

While using the cookie scoop for the first time the metal rod that connects to the small gear started to spin freely in the gear. Squeezing the handle no longer turned the blade to release the dough from the scoop.

DO NOT purchase this! I received it as a gift and it broke on the first use. The inside metal swiper pops out constantly and I finally just threw it away. Complete waste of money.
