submitted byJoe - 4 months agoTarget staff supportA: The R-51M does not have a RCA subwoofer connection. The R-51M is a passive, non-powered speaker that will need to be connected, via speaker wire, to a receiver/amplifier for power and audio reproduction.

Good sound in a small space, I am using them with two EV-18B woofers with crossover networks in a simple home theater configuration. The configuration is almost complete, the efficiency of these speakers is similar to the woofers.

I bought this last week for my room to compliment my subwoofer, and they work excellently. The clarity is way better than anything I've ever heard before and I love the removable covers so I can protect my speakers while away.

I purchased these to replace old Onkyo surround speakers, and I use them for the Left and Right Rear Surrounds. Huge boost in quality and sound over the old Onkyo speakers that I had there before. The old stands support them as well.

I've had these speakers since February 2024. It's now October 2024. These speakers are excellent and meet all my expectations. The bass is better than some reviewers state. My Denon 95W amp drives them as loud as I wish, and they sound great at low & high volumes. I do prefer a bit higher volume though. Great for Jazz and also most anything else.
