After resting for nine years, the barrels are bottled at 120 proof. The result is an uncompromising flavor with subtle variations between barrels. When Booker Noe created the Small Batch Bourbon Collection over 25 years ago, his goal was to return to the classic bourbon-making techniques of the pre-prohibition era and its gold-level standards. Sip or two in the evening after work. Always 120 on a sliver or two of ice....careful, never too much...ice. The flavor has always burst through. HOWEVER, the last two bottles of 120 have been extremely disappointing. (Just started the second, hoping it would be like my memory of previous bottles.) Truly, something has happened. The rich dark Caramel flavor is not coming to the top. I'm scared to try another bottle. Purchased both bottles in Kentucky 02/17/2022.

I don't drink beer. Never have never will. I only drink whisky. I was a crown guy until 4 weeks ago. Then I discover knob creek and a thanksgiving party. Boy was that a great day. I threw the crown away and know it's knob creek only. I love the reserve ! Slowly climbing the knob creek ladder. Ill pay for good liquor !

I saw this on the shelf of my local store and decided to give it a go. It certainly wont be my last bottle, and hopefully the next barrel (if different) tastes just as rich and delicious as this one. Great sipper, and the finish is looong and pleasing. I'll toss this knob down my throat any day!
